The company formerly known as Mechcon Engineering works was founded in 1984 by Mr. Lew Soo Kong as small workshop in Salak South, outskirt of Kuala Lumpur. With Mr. Lew's many year of experience and required engineering knowledge, in the beginning the company only undertook jobbing order for design and fabrication works. In 2000, Mechon was established as Sdn Bhd (Private Ltd) company.
